The Process - Designing your Oushak

Share Your Vision

Begin by completing our custom inquiry form. This allows us to understand your inspiration and the heart behind your project. You’re welcome to upload inspiration photos, fabric swatches, sketches, or room images — or simply describe your desired color palette, size, and shape. The customization options are endless.

Personal Consultation

Within three business days, we will reach out to schedule either an in-person or virtual consultation, depending on your location and preference.

During this meeting, we’ll discuss where the rug will live, how the space is used, preferred materials, tonal direction, and overall feeling. This is where practicality meets artistry.

Designing Together

Your rug is designed collaboratively during our consultation using our custom carpet design software and curated color palette, developed through a refined textile color referencing system.

We adjust scale, proportion, motif, and tone in real time — ensuring balance, softness, and longevity. Every detail is considered. Every element intentional.

Once we arrive at a mockup you truly love, your design is finalized and prepared for weaving.

Into Production

Your Oushak rug then enters production, where skilled artisans hand-knot each piece using fine Turkish wool. The weaving process unfolds patiently and with precision, resulting in exceptional structure and heirloom quality.

Production timelines vary depending on the size and complexity of the design. Typically, weaving takes approximately 30–45 days.

Throughout this period, we provide thoughtful updates so you remain informed of key production milestones. We believe the experience should feel just as intentional and beautiful as the finished piece.
